Privacy Policy

RedMin Labs doesn't ask for accounts, doesn't run ad trackers, and doesn't sell data. This page explains exactly what happens to information when you read the site or run our free tools.

No accounts, no tracking

Every page on this site, and every tool we publish, works without signing up. We don't ask for a name, an email, or a password to use anything here. We don't embed third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we don't set cookies to follow you across the web. Demo videos are embedded via YouTube's no-cookie player for that reason.

Data you run through our tools

The Graph Digitizer, Curve Smoother, I–V Analyzer, and XRD Analysis tools are free browser instruments. Some of the calculations behind them, such as Lambert W curve fitting and diffraction-pattern analysis, run on servers we operate rather than in your browser. That means the numeric data you feed a tool, for example digitized graph points, curve data, or an XRD pattern, is sent to our processing servers to compute your result and returned to you.

  • We use it only to compute your result. We don't read, publish, or repurpose the datasets you submit.
  • We don't sell or share it. Your data isn't passed to advertisers, analytics vendors, or any other third party.
  • We don't keep it around. Submitted data is processed to produce your result and isn't retained for any other purpose.

If you email us

The "Support the lab" and "Email us" links open your own email client addressed to us. Anything you send that way lands in our inbox and is used only to read and respond to your message. Sending through Gmail's web interface is also subject to Google's own privacy policy, which is outside our control.

Who this is for

RedMin Labs is built for researchers, students, and anyone curious about physics data. We don't knowingly collect information from children, and the site isn't directed at them.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle data changes, we'll update this page and move the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after an update means you've seen the current version.
